Come hear Kelsey with Yvonne Aubert on keys, followed by Jesse Soursourian, at The Lilypad on Friday, May 1st. Kelsey and Yvonne from 10-11:30, and Jesse plays from 11:30-1. On Sunday evening, May 3rd, 5:30 p.m. Kelsey does a set for Arts First on the stage outside of the Holyoke Center in Harvard Square (near The Newsstand).
Kelsey begins work on her second CD - a collection of Christmas music with a touch of gospel and soul - this summer along with producer and guitarist Mike Null and some of the players from their first CD. They'll be working with Tom Eaton (Thomas Eaton Recording in Newburyport) on the project.
And thanks to Lizard Lounge in Cambridge and Ten Center Restaurant in Newburyport for hosting CD Release Parties --with Mike Null, Bruce Bears, Justin Berthiume, and Sven Larson (the handsome musicians who play on the cd). We're grateful to all who came out to hear the music from 'crystal & ash'! It was good to see so many old - and new - friends.
